Lead Nurture Ladder

Keep every lead moving until you get an answer.

If we can't reach a new lead, the next try follows on a timed schedule. Then each lead gets follow-up that fits where it stands: someone who's just asked, someone who's replied, someone who's booked, someone who started booking and stopped, or someone sitting on a quote. Sales follow-up stops at a yes, a no or an opt-out. Booked leads then get show-up reminders, and no-shows are followed up.

Our booking page calls this a Growth System Review. You can use the session to discuss and buy this service on its own.

A lead that hears from you once can go cold.

Most enquiries need more than one try. One unanswered text can let a lead go cold. A missed callback, a quiet quote or a no-show can stay open for weeks unless someone sends the next message.

Why this work matters

93% of leads that convert are reached by the sixth attempt. The average rep makes 1.3.

Define appropriate next actions for active enquiries and stop when a decision or opt-out is recorded.

Velocify analysed nearly 3.5 million leads across hundreds of firms: 93% of leads that converted were contacted within six or fewer call attempts. Separately, InsideSales reported 1.3 average call attempts across 7,960 companies in 2008–2012. These are different samples and do not show that six calls will convert an arbitrary lead.

The managed work

What we take care of

Timed first follow-up

If we can't reach a new lead, we try again on a timed schedule across the channels you sign up until they reply. Facebook and Instagram DMs aren't part of the timed schedule; follow-up there stays within the platform's reply window.

Follow-up by where each lead stands

We send follow-up that fits the lead: someone who's just asked, someone who's replied, someone who's booked, someone who started booking and stopped, or someone sitting on a quote.

Show-up reminders and no-shows

Booked leads get confirmations and reminders. We help with rescheduling and follow up no-shows.

Open quotes

We follow up open quotes and pass questions and decisions to your team. We send the follow-ups; your team owns the price and the decision.

Clear stopping rules

Sales follow-up stops at a yes, a no or an opt-out. We record each reply, booking, decline or opt-out so your team sees it.

Working together

How the service runs

  1. Set up the ladder

We agree which leads enter, the timing of each step, the channels and what stops or changes it.

  2. Connect the next steps

We write the messages for you to sign off and connect booking and basic records.

  3. Review unresolved leads

We check replies and exceptions and tell you where a decision or a person is needed.

Illustrative example

Illustrative conversation using fictional details.

Follow-up

“Hi Morgan, do you have any questions about the quote we sent?”

Reply

“Could we discuss a different date?”

Next step

We pause the next reminder, note the date question and pass it to whoever handles bookings.

A clear scope

What to agree before we start

Following up active leads and quotes is separate from winning back old enquiries or former customers, which belongs to the Win-Back Campaign.

Timing, channels and handoffs are agreed in your proposal. Follow-up changes or stops for replies, decisions and opt-outs.

Your team sets prices and closes sales. Basic enquiry recording is included; wider changes to your customer records are separate.

Standalone pricing, timing and service commitments are set out in your proposal. The Growth System’s package timing and guarantee do not automatically apply to an individual service.

Questions about Lead Nurture Ladder

How often will you contact someone?

We agree the timing of each step with you. It's not an endless sequence: a yes, a no or an opt-out ends it.

Why is it called a ladder?

Because each lead climbs it one step at a time: the next message goes out only if the last one got no answer, and the step changes as the lead replies, books or goes quiet.

Can you follow up after a missed appointment?

Yes. No-shows get a follow-up and help to rebook.

What about leads from last year?

Older leads need their own plan and a good reason to get back in touch. The Win-Back Campaign covers that.

Connected work

Prefer one managed package?

The Growth System connects work across the customer journey. We plan the work around what your business needs. Capabilities you already handle do not automatically reduce the package price.
